Turning 28--New Yorker Style

Adlee was a nervous eater before I left for the city that never sleeps.
I was lucky enough to be able to go to NYC with my mom and 2 sisters over my Birthday. We ruled Manhattan...and had a blast. There was a lot to see and do while we were there.
Times Square

Canal Street shopping was just down the street from our hotel. We constantly got invited down in creepy underground shops to look at Chanel bags at a steep discount. It wasn't creepy AT ALL.

Manhattan Temple

Central Park

Central Park in the Fall....beautiful.

See?

Isaac and I went to NYC in 2004 and fell in love while rowing around central park. It was just as fun with the girls....but made me miss the Mr.

Times Square a second time

Mmmmm. Shake Shack. For some reason a burger and fries taste better in the middle of a park in Manhattan..right before a rain storm and a broadway play.

West Side story, Front Row
Visiting ground zero

Lady Liberty

Conquering Brooklyn Bridge

I learned a lot of things on this trip:
Girls only trips are a must
I love and miss my family way to much
Chinatown doesn't stink nearly as much when the weather cools down
I tighten my seat belt after a plane ride...so the next person has to loosen it?
Ashlee would have made a killer New Yorker
Adlee does not miss me nearly as much as I miss her
And I need to go back soon!

Mexico 2010

Isaac's brother Nick and his wife Megan came with us down to Puerto Penasco, Mexico. We had an awesome time down at a really fun resort called Las Palomas. We spent 3 days lounging pool-side and enjoying the warm weather.

Adlee loved swimming all day.

My kind of family portrait.

Mommy and daughter go for a walk on the beach.

Nothing like watching the sun go down on the Sea of Cortez.

Adlee tried to run off with another little boy's tube.
