This baby thing is happening today. Contractions got pretty bad this morning so we came to the hospital around 8:30. The staff here told us that today is definitely the day. She's progressing a ton faster than with Adlee. We just might have a baby by lunch. It's a lot more calm since she got the epidural about a half hour ago.

Happy Halloween

Amazing trip to San Diego and Sea World at the end of Sept. This guys does cool drawings with beach sand out in front of the restaurant patios on Coronado Island.

Adlee is growing like a weed and talking, singing, bouncing everywhere she goes. She's been so cute lately I just don't know where to start.
Here are some pretty comical translations of words she currently uses:
Brada = Grandma
Papa = Grandpa
E-book = Chocolate Milk (no idea where this came from)
Appooose = Apple Juice (the obvious combination of the two words, "1984" Newspeak anyone?)
Waggits = Wagon
Wuduyoo = W
Fedets = Seven
Pahdiss = Thomas (as in Thomas The Train)
Frog/Flag = Starts with an F and ends with a K (hint: It's not firetruck!)
Eyesore = Dinosaur
Punket = Pumpkin
Wadamony = Watermelon
There's more, I just can't remember what they are right now.
... to be continued.

2011
Lucky for me---my New Years Resolution was not to become a better blogger......I would have really missed the mark so far if it was! Apparently, life goes on---even if you don't blog about it :) We packed up and headed to Utah for Christmas. Adlee loves the snow and was tasting it here for the first time. On the ride to Utah she kept yelling "NO!!!! NO!!!!" I was so confused until I realized she was yelling at all the "snow!" she was seeing everywhere.
Isaac's parents rented a cabin up Ogden canyon right in the middle of Power ski resort. Everyone was able to make it.....it was so much fun! Snowboarding, skiing, eating great meals, hanging out, hot tubbing, playing in the snow, sledding, and wrangling all the little kids that come along with the Trujillo/Bell/Mortensen families made for a great time! Adlee became an expert present opener.....check out her form :)
She ate her weight in freshly fallen snow and Ice.....
Daddy was nice enough to treat her to a ride while we were shopping at the mall. After the ride was over and it was time to go---she threw the biggest FIT! Screaming, punching, kicking!! People were staring as I rushed her through the store and out to our car. I was flustered and about to cry myself when she stopped.....looked at me and said "HI!!" The joys of motherhood!
We went to the Children's Museum with Britt, Grandma and Grandpa Trujillo, Seth, Mia and Grady. I think Adlee could live in that place.
Getting wet with Grady
We are just enjoying the AZ sunshine mixed in with some chilly hot chocolate days! Adlee is getting big and has an even bigger personality. She LOVES to dance to any music she can hear and is quite erratic when she does. We have restricted her Binky consumption to nighttime only. Adlee acts as if she has lost a limb.
