10 years ago: Hmmm..I was 15, so I know I was anticipating going to high school and driving. And-- I was hanging out with Felicia,Kathryn and Abby and we would have a party every weekend at Felicia's house and we would walk to Smith's and get tons of junk food with the gift certificates that Felicia's mom always gave us. Ahhh, I love Carol!!!

5 things on my to-do list today: Work (boo), laundry (double boo), go for a run, pick up my wedding ring that is getting cleaned, cuddle with my cute hubby :)

I enjoy: Reading a good book, Hanging out with my family, MY HUSBAND, a clean house with good candles burning........AND reality TV

What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: Buy an island, buy a sweet apartment in Manhattan across from central park, buy a house in Cali, Utah, Hawaii, and a few in Europe. Go shopping like crazy, Travel, give to my family and friends so we could all retire :) And then I would do the boring thing of saving and investing for the future, blah (because Isaac would make me)

3 of my bad habits: I am very stubborn, I will make my bed when I get home from work--not in the morning like normal people, I don't call my mom as much as I should (according to her).

5 places I have lived: Brigham City, Provo, Logan, Salt Lake City, Chandler & Mesa AZ.

5 jobs that I have had: BC Recreation, Lifeguard, Chem-Dry corp. offices, Doctors office, CPA firm.

5 Things people don't know about me: I watch way to much reality TV, I love to eat cereal for dinner, I have a huge fear of having kids that do drugs (this may be due to watching to much Intervention...), I fear child-birth (I KNOW I will freak out at every stage of pregnancy and raising a child). I hate clutter...I enjoy throwing things away and keeping things simple in my house (just ask Isaac how many times I have attempted to throw his Engineering books away)

Home made sushi

I know....I was worried when I heard that too......sushi is to sketchy to mess with. I tend to want to leave it to the Japanese guy with the sharp knife and the funky headband. BUT---Isaac has been wanting to try it forever now...and Nick was in town AND-it was just a California roll.

AND---it was DELICIOUS! Mmmmmm. Way to go Nick and Isaac....now I crave it every night.

New Years Eve 2007

For New Years Eve we headed to the Trujillo residence for a pizza party to ring in the new year!

Isaac cooked up a heart shaped pizza.......mmmmmm

You know that guitar hero was in order....

Gerry lighted off some fire crackers at midnight. Sethy was scared of all the noise and did not want to "celebwate" anymore!


Tess was quite the trooper...she stayed up until 1AM!

ping pong and the hot tub

The guys got together to play some ping pong and get in the hot tub at my parents house. Nothing TOO crazy....

My dad tried to show Isaac how it is done...

Bart has very good form and is ready to play....

THEN, it was time for a relaxing dip in the hot tub............

My dad thought a nice jog around the house was in order....BRRRR!

Isaac knew he had to impress me with this......

Then back to the hot tub ASAP!!!

They never will admit how painful that really was..........




Good thing my dad has a few son-in-laws to do that with!!! I never would have done it!

Christmas Day at the Trujillo's

Christmas afternoon we headed to the Trujillo's for some more present opening and some prime rib...mmmm.

Isaac and I won the coolest uncle and aunt award according to Sethy....we got him 'dinosaur eggs' that hatched into foam dinosaurs. Proof that you really don't need to spend quality time with kids to get them to love you.....If he opened a gift that had clothes in it--he would chuck them over his shoulder and look for another present......so funny.

Seth was nice enough to help Ronda open up her gift.

Christmas Day with the Romer/Tucker's

My parents, Carlie, Isaac and I all headed over to Ashlee and Bart's house at 7AM Christmas morning. Ashlee wanted us over there at 5AM.....but we held out for those extra two hours of sleep. I am pretty sure that she ripped her kids out of bed...she was more excited for them to open their presents than I ever remember her being on Christmas morning when we were kids.....

As far as I knew...Jadon was on the fence all year as to if Santa was coming to visit him at all. It could have gone either way--but he must have really went into "good boy" mode to score like he did. Santa was very generous!

Zhoee also did very well for herself. SPOILED! You had better believe she had to have everything princess and pink....such a girly girl. She got a box of "princess shoes" with heels and she could walk in them better than I can walk in mine!

Bostyn was happy to be there and just wanted to eat the tissue paper out of all the presents.

Christmas Eve

Ahh....I love the Holidays. It was awesome to be back home in Utah and spend some quality time with our families. I didn't even complain (well, not THAT much) about all the snow, freezing weather and Isaac doing donuts constantly in our car.
