Dad's Visit

My dad finally came to visit...and we had a BLAST! We went to a Diamondbacks's game, a Suns game and we even managed to play war at an Indian casino. Yes, war exists in Indian casino's. I lost $20 and my dad won $20. So, he gave me the $20 and we walked out even. Fun stuff. Thanks for coming, Dad!

I guess my dad is a fan of Alice Cooper. He owns a restaurant right by where the Suns/D-backs play and is there pretty often. So we stopped by hoping that he would be there...he wasn't- but a cardboard cut-out made my dad just as happy.

This is 'blog-able'

This weekend Isaac went to play a soccer game while I stayed at home. This is how our conversation went when he got home.

I: "Babe (as he is coming in the house)! Get the Camera!!
K: "huh?"
I: "I think my wrists (yes, plural) are broken"
K: "uh huh.....what did you do this......OH MY GOSH!! WE NEED TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!! Uh, I THINK I AM GOING TO BE SICK!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOURSELF?!?! YOU ARE NEVER PLAYING SOCCER EVER AGAIN!! AHHHH! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!" (Isaac had his whole shoulder reconstructed in October, and is finally feeling better from all that)
I: "Just get the camera, if this isn't blog-able, I don't know what is."
K: "What the? That doesn't look right! We need to go to the hospital!(I am frantically pacing the room)"
I: "Maybe a little later, the Yankees and the Red Sox are playing...."

Well, turns out the right wrist is very broken and the left wrist is really hurting him and possibly broken. When the doctor was putting the cast on he mentioned that Isaac would have to have sponge baths for the next little while...then they both looked at me with HUGE smiles on their faces.

I was freaking because I thought that that bump was his bone and it kept swelling and swelling.

Who knew one little crack could be so painful?

Right after we got home from the Hospital.....he was milking his injuries for sure.

And the nice navy blue cast. **Funny story** When Isaac was about a week away from going into High School for the first time as a Sophmore, he broke his leg. When he went to get his cast put on, all the doctor had was a "jazzy purple" color. He was horrified to enter HS for the first time with a "jazzy purple" cast. I begged him to get a purple cast for old times sake.....he wouldn't have it. :)

Me, Isaac, Angie, Marci, Nick

Seth, Isaac, Mia

Easter morning goods.

When men are in charge....

Isaac's friends Ash and Eric come for a "guys trip" every year to hang out, BBQ, play XBOX and go to some spring training games....needless to say--I stay out of their way. They want as little estrogen around them as possible. I told Isaac to make sure to document this year with some pictures. He assured me he would and he did. Well....here is the proof that they were here....

Sooooo typical of Isaac......photography is not his forte. Thanks for coming guys! See you next year!

Spring Training...Cubs vs. A's

It was our friend Jenny's B-day.....so we headed to a Spring Training game to celebrate. The weather was awesome and we had a great time! (this was like 3 weeks ago...I realized why I have waited so long to post--uploading pictures takes to long!) HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNY!
