2011

Lucky for me---my New Years Resolution was not to become a better blogger......I would have really missed the mark so far if it was! Apparently, life goes on---even if you don't blog about it :)

We packed up and headed to Utah for Christmas. Adlee loves the snow and was tasting it here for the first time. On the ride to Utah she kept yelling "NO!!!! NO!!!!" I was so confused until I realized she was yelling at all the "snow!" she was seeing everywhere.

Isaac's parents rented a cabin up Ogden canyon right in the middle of Power ski resort. Everyone was able to make it.....it was so much fun! Snowboarding, skiing, eating great meals, hanging out, hot tubbing, playing in the snow, sledding, and wrangling all the little kids that come along with the Trujillo/Bell/Mortensen families made for a great time! Adlee became an expert present opener.....check out her form :)

She ate her weight in freshly fallen snow and Ice.....

Our last day there Ronda and Gerry wanted to get some pictures with all the Grand kids. Every last one of them was an Angel......except Adlee. She kicked and screamed and threw a fit. Her face is all blotchy and red with tears streaming down her face in the picture. I guess it would have been weird if all those kids were good for a picture. Adlee was just doing her duty as a 1 year old.

The run-a-way Shepard during the Nativity at Grandma J's house.

Cuddle time with Grandpa Romer

Catching snow as it falls...Mmmmm

Movie night

Adlee and Jorge having a Tea party.

Daddy was nice enough to treat her to a ride while we were shopping at the mall. After the ride was over and it was time to go---she threw the biggest FIT! Screaming, punching, kicking!! People were staring as I rushed her through the store and out to our car. I was flustered and about to cry myself when she stopped.....looked at me and said "HI!!" The joys of motherhood!

We went to the Children's Museum with Britt, Grandma and Grandpa Trujillo, Seth, Mia and Grady. I think Adlee could live in that place.

Getting wet with Grady

We finally got home around 11 days after Isaac had headed home. Adlee was excited to play with her daddy and be outside without freezing!

Adlee's bestie Marley turned 3 with a Tea Party dance Party. They rocked it out to some Tangled songs.....

And then dined on 'Tea' (hot chocolate) and goodies!

We are just enjoying the AZ sunshine mixed in with some chilly hot chocolate days! Adlee is getting big and has an even bigger personality. She LOVES to dance to any music she can hear and is quite erratic when she does. We have restricted her Binky consumption to nighttime only. Adlee acts as if she has lost a limb.
