Baby proof 101

It's time to baby proof the house. Adlee has officially gone mobile! She started crawling 2 days after Thanksgiving which would put her at just over 6 months.....why did I think I had like a year before she would be getting into things she shouldn't??? She usually acts like it is a chore to have to crawl around and will make it over to my feet and beg to be picked up.

Ready or not....here she comes!

Upgrade

And then that upgrade.....upgraded to an almost crawling, giggling, smiling, partner in crime.




Losing a pregnant body and face for that little cutie was the best deal of my life :)

Cereal

Isaac has been traveling to Texas for work for the past 2 weeks. The first week I was just fine. I missed him, but hey---him being gone meant less dishes and laundry for me. Then the 2nd week came.....lets just say after finding the cereal box in the refridgerator....coughTWICEcough...and the milk in the pantry (only once though people) I realized that I need the hubs around just to be a sane member of society. I was losing it without him. It was good to have him home :)

--please take note that I never....not even once....tried to put Adlee in the fridge while he was gone. However, she did miss her daddy right along with me.

Adlee is getting so big! I just realized the other day that she will never be as small as she is today and the days go by so fast! She is....

--Pulling mommy's hair...really hard

--Rolling all over the carpet

--Finding her way to toys that are out of her reach

--Scooting with her legs and dragging her face along the surface. Her cheeks are paying the price with carpet burns

--smiling like crazy

--laughing....the best giggle ever

--sitting with some help

--reaching for everything

--only wants mommy or daddy to hold her.....otherwise she is not afraid to break out the sad cry

--looking more like mommy everyday

--wrapping her daddy around her little finger

She will be 21 weeks on Tuesday. It has been the Best 21 weeks of my life :)

I'm ready for September...

Ugh. August was a tough month. In between killing crickets in my washer I spent a few days in the hospital for a fun surgery from complications to mastitis. All I wanted to do was feed my baby and after it all I am re-thinking any other breast-fed babies in my future. I am still recovering and have a nurse come visit me a couple times a week --she has quickly become my breast friend :) (that is the best joke I have from all this---so please laugh)
Adlee is growing like a weed. I know everyone says that you love your babies like you never knew possible--but I now realize it is more than just wanting you to jump on the baby boat--they (babies) are seriously the best thing you could ever do. She is my little partner in crime, she slimes me with her slobber everytime I pick her up and I could care less and when I put a rattle in her hand she hits herself in the head repeatedly and then looks at me as if it is my fault. I love her. I am obsessed with her and her ever growing chubby cheeks.

She is even sassy enough to give her mommy the bird when I take to many pictures :)

She learned to roll over on her side to sleep....so precious.

SUMMER FUN...

Sorry about baby pic and vid overload, but we've got grandmas up in Utah who miss their granddaughter. Adlee has just started to smile a bunch and we finally caught her on camera.

Thanks to all for an amazing trip to Utah for Adlee's blessing, and especially to the Romers for the weekend in Vegas on the way back down to Phoenix.
